Ground maintenance

It is already a month since we last gathered to tackle the work to be done on our cricket grounds. We will be there again this Sunday.

We will be continuing on the ditch clearing, and outside tidying at Newchapel. Meet there at 10.00 ish for a couple of hours or so. Please wear suitable clothing and bring any tools that you think may be useful.

Future working parties will have to look to the main gate, that needs replacing, repairing the roof to the machinery shed at Godstone Road, renovating the sightscreens and mobile nets etc. as well as getting the Felcourt Ground ready for 2009. In the New Year the Newchapel clubhouse could do with a lick of paint. For that job the fewer people involved will allow the quicker and better finish. But that is for next year. Anything still to be finished can be rolled into Cricket Force weekend 3rd to 5th April.

A few people have pointed out that Sunday mornings are not convenient for them and have offered to help at other times. Thank you we will sort out a way to allow you access at other times.
