Nets training has started

The start of the 2009 season is almost upon us. Dust down that cricket bat and get your gear ready. We have already started indoor nets practice and more people are welcome.

So get to the nets, loosen up, and give that ball a whack!

New players are most welcome

We run five saturday teams, three sunday teams and even have a mid week team. We also have a thriving junior section ranging from youngsters just old enough to carry a bat all the way up to late teens.

We are always looking for new players of all skill levels and you will quickly find that Lingfield is a very friendly club. If you are looking for a new club or haven't played for a while, get in contact and come down and see us.

New website

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website.

We actually now have two websites, this one which is www.LingfieldCC.co.uk and our other site within the play-cricket database at http://lingfield.play-cricket.com

This main site will have news and general information about the club as well as many links to the play-cricket.com website.

On the play-cricket website you will find our fixture information, match results, match reports and player statistics.

You can easily get to the correct play-cricket section by coming here first and following the relevant team links.

Lingfield Cricket Club is very excited about its future. The club consists of well over 200 people who all share an interest in cricket. We want to continue to improve the club, our playing abilities and above all, have a lot of fun and enjoyment whilst doing it.
