About Lingfield Cricket ClubWe are a village club offering league and friendly cricket to colts and senior players. We are members of the Club Cricket Conference and Surrey Cricket
Board. Playing:We run 3 Saturday sides, 2 of which play in the Mid-Sussex League, and 2 Sunday sides. We have a large attractive ground with practise facilities. Membership costs are low - subs £40, match fees £6 We enter teams in 2 indoor leagues in the winter. We have ambitions to improve our standards. Social:We hold regular monthly social functions during the season (May to September) Teas are excellent (Well, they are at home games anyway!) We have facilities for disabled spectators. The beer is cheaper than in most pubs! We have a plush pavilion. Colts/JuniorsWe encourage young players (from 7 upward) and give them senior opportunities. We have a second ground to avoid clashes with senior matches. We run league teams from Under 9s to Under 16s. We have at least 6 ECB qualified coaches. We encourage girls and boys. PracticeSeniors and senior colts on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm Junior Colts on Saturday mornings from 10.00 to 12.00 EthosWe encourage players to respect the spirit as well as the letter
